Our Work

Envisioning an Idaho where every community can count on safe, high-quality healthcare.

It’s hard to fix what you can’t see. We define the challenges to safe healthcare in Idaho, including physician shortages and the impact of threatening to jail doctors for providing standard medical care. Then, we help Idahoans advocate for safe healthcare at the statehouse and in their own neighborhoods.

Education

We work with partners in research and the media to find answers to some of Idaho’s biggest questions like, “How much do doctors contribute to our economy?” “Where have all the obstetricians gone?” and “Why is Idaho last in physician to patient ratios?” We educate through media appearances, panels, op/eds, forums, and community gatherings.

Advocacy

We equip everyday Idahoans and advanced medical experts with the tools they need to advocate for safe healthcare. From basic advocacy training to coordinating meetings with lawmakers and crafting talking points, we lead and support healthcare advocacy for folks across the state.

Outreach

Idaho is a rural state made up of many different communities with many different personalities -  all of whom need access to safe healthcare. We work with organizations and individuals throughout the state to understand and elevate their healthcare stories, provide insights and connections, and work to change the systems and laws that stand in the way of safe healthcare.
